Melon Acres was founded in 1976 by Abner Horrall and Family and remains family-owned and is operated by Mike and Vicki Horrall along with their 3 children, Autumn, Jacob, and Whitney. The farm has grown to include over 1,000 acres of cantaloupes, watermelon, sweet corn,  and asparagus, and a Community Supported Agriculture program. The third generation of Melon Acres carries on the mission of passing on trusted, family quality fruits and vegetables.
